Wild Coast
Breath-taking beauty
The WILD COAST is an incredible, unassuming combination of breath-taking coastline (with numerous shipwrecks), steep and craggy cliff faces, wild and stark beaches, secluded bays and green rolling hills that rush headlong into deeply incised river valleys.
The region is the historical home of the Xhosa nation. It is also the birth place of South African statesman, Nelson Mandela.
The beauty of the coastline is interfered with by few, and aside from the odd collection of thatched rondawel huts, is virtually uninhabited.
