AQUILA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE is named after the endangered black or Verreaux’s eagle (Aquila Verreauxii), and is home to the BIG 5 namely, elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard, as well as a significant amount of other wild game, all roaming freely. Aquila is just under 2 hours travel time from Cape Town, offering day and overnight safaris. All game drives are in open 4 x 4 vehicles. A visit to beautiful Aquila is well worth it.
The Aquila Restaurant offers cocktails and a wide selection of buffet style meals, which includes traditional South African cuisine
Half-day safaris include:
- Tea/Coffee/Rusks and breakfast are provided for early morning half-day safari trips
- Lunch is provided for the afternoon half-day safari trips
- Tea/Coffee/Tea Time Snacks are provided on the sunset safari trips
Full-day safaris include:
- Welcome drink, buffet breakfast and lunch
Overnight safaris include:
- Cocktails on arrival and 3 meals daily.
