ADDO ELEPHANT PARK is the 3rd largest national park in South Africa, near Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Addo is home to more than 600 elephants. Here too are the BIG 5, some of Africa’s most famous wild animals and an abundance of bird life. Nothing could be better if you are a bush lover.

- If you enter from the south at Colchester, there is a Spar market, where you can stock up on supplies
- Park shop in Addo main camp during gate opening times
- There’s nothing like a steak in the bush. Addo Cattle Baron Grill & Bistro is situated in the main camp, and is famous for its steaks. Due to its game park location, venison dishes such as slow-cooked Springbok shanks are also served – with the popular dishes being the surf & turf, lamb curry and the famous venison hotpot.
