Our Story
We have travelled extensively for business and great family holidays over the years. We have been all over the world and, of course, all over our beautiful Southern Africa.
We know our stuff.
We know where to go, what to do, where to eat, how to get there, what to wear and what to (and not to) say.
We can help you plan the holiday of a lifetime in this incredible country that is the stuff dreams are made of.
Why Southern Africa?
No other countries in Africa, and few others elsewhere in the world, offer the diversity and exceptional attractions found in Southern Africa. African wildlife is by far the number one tourist attraction. We have the magnificent Table Mountain in South Africa, and the majestic Victoria Falls in Zambia/Zimbabwe, which are listed under the Seven Wonders of the World - new and natural. Kirstenbosch in South Africa, is regarded as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. There is the famous Robben Island, just off the Cape Town coast which is a Unesco listed Heritage site. Amazing beaches and coastlines abound in Southern Africa. There is a lot to see and do. . . . for young and old.... making for a memorable and exciting family holiday.
SAFARI
For an exciting and memorable holiday, there is nothing quite like a family safari. It’s loads of fun, and kids get to learn about nature and wildlife. Self-driving is an excellent option for families, giving you the flexibility to stop whenever you like.
URBAN
There is an abundance of things to see and do in South Africa’s cities. CAPE TOWN is a vibrant and buzzing city, constantly topping lists of best places to visit in South Africa. JOHANNESBURG, also known as Jo’burg / City of Gold, is a creative and trendy “must-see” city. DURBAN, with its friendly, laid back atmosphere and strong Indian influence, gives this city a unique charm. GQEBERHA (Port Elizabeth) also known as Nelson Mandela Bay and the “windy city”, is known for its historic city centre, charming architecture and has a relaxing, but upbeat atmosphere.
RURAL
The small quaint family friendly village of DULLSTROOM is conveniently set halfway between Johannesburg and the Kruger National Park, and is ideal for a weekend stopover. Dullstroom is known as South Africa’s premier fly-fishing area. The WILD COAST, situated in the Eastern Cape, is sparsely populated, and one of South Africa’s unspoiled beautiful treasures. Perfect for idyllic family vacations, offering lots of fun-filled family activities.
Road Trips
Feeling claustrophobic, needing a long weekend away to relax with your family? No better time than now to plan a road trip to “get away from it all”.
Our beautiful South Africa has countless long, winding roads just waiting to be explored, making a self-drive road trip very rewarding, and you get to spend quality time with your family.
